OUR STORY

Russel Industries is a UK-based holding company that invests in and provides active leadership to a group of technology-oriented manufacturing businesses. We have companies based in Cambridgeshire, North Wales, and Thurso, Scotland. Our aim is to purchase companies that expand our geographic reach. With struggles in the supply chain across the world, we want to build a robust system within the UK to mitigate difficulties in the future.

Our story starts with wanting to leave a legacy for good, playing a major part in changing the engineering sector, climate change, and the way the UK approaches running businesses. We are a bigger picture company, which is why our ethos is ‘building lasting value’. Electrification is the future, and we think big to make big changes.

MISSION

We invest in electric technology-centred manufacturing SMEs to create a better UK supply chain and lead the country towards carbon neutrality. Our purpose is to enable a safe, reliable, and innovative electrified future.

Our five-to-ten-year plans aim to centralise corporate functions and create a culture across all our businesses that encourages learning and innovation, led by lean hierarchies.

VISION

Our vision is to build a strong group that can enable, support and accelerate electrification, as well as create a business that’s owned and managed differently from other UK manufacturing SMEs as a UK Mittelstand.

Through long-term partnerships and strategies, we strive for a greener, more efficient planet. We exclusively invest in electric technology-based companies to contribute toward the electric future we believe in.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Customer focus

We deliver on our customer’s needs at every step in their journey. We’re committed to providing excellent customer service through transparent communication, quality of product, and a ‘people-first’ attitude.

Continuous improvement

A CI mindset keeps us constantly innovating and challenging the norm. We’re driven to discover more efficient ways of working to return the focus back to the value we provide our customers.

Taking the long view

We have created a 10-year plan that is durable and more profitable through a clear sense of direction. We want to make a real difference in society and know that takes time and careful planning.

Collaboration

With multiple companies in our portfolio, collaboration unifies us to deliver high customer satisfaction. We work across all our businesses to drive growth, build trust, shorten time to market, and generate sustainable profitability.
